Selena Gomez, interviewed by E!’s Ken Baker, confirmed that after the release of her 4th album, she will promote the album, and have a tour here in the United States. And she also confirmed that she will be going on her FIRST WORLD TOUR! She is very excited about it and cannot wait for her fans to hear the new music she has for them!

Selena Gomez’s next musical effort now has a March 2013 date attached to it. 

The newly single star was in Texas on Wednesday (Nov. 14), helping pal Ryan Seacrest open Seacrest Studios, an interactive media experience for kids, at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. During the event, Seacrest posted on Twitter, “.@selenagomez just told me new album in march fyi,” and linked to a photo of himself and the 20-year-old starlet. Although no other details have been revealed, the news hints at the end of Gomez’s musical hiatus, which began in January 2012.

Gomez’s last album, “When The Sun Goes Down,” has sold 642,000 copies since its June 2011 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album — her third billed as “Selena Gomez & The Scene” — spawned her biggest airplay hit ever, “Love You Like a Love Song,” which reached No. 15 on the Radio Songs chart and her first top 10 on the Pop Songs tally (No. 6).

Selena Gomez recently sat down with Radio Disney to talk about her new sound, and it looks like the singer is going in some exotic directions. The “Love You Like A Love Song” singer has her fourth album set to be released sometime in 2013, but for now she is keeping busy in her new role as the executive producer of Disney Channel hit TV show “Wizards of Waverly Place” and a blossoming film career. Oh, not to mention finding time to perform and collaborate with her pop star boyfriend Justin Bieber.
